Dr. Chua's Family Clinic Pte. Ltd.

I been coming here for a very long time. I liked doctor Chua and doctor Low. All the medication given suit me. What I don't like is the front staff. Some are very rude. Especially a lady by the name of Ivy. Not sure if I get her name right. No patience at all while attending to a senior lady. She even dare to raise her voice which is really not professional at all. I hoped your company can advise her. Date visited 05/01/2026. Time: 7pm to 8pm.

My child previously had an ear infection.<br><br>Infection was cleared but was told to come back to wash the ear wax. We came back today. Waited for more than 4hrs. The moment we saw the doc, his first comment was… this is a very wrong timing to come to clear the ear wax as he was very busy trying to clear the balance patients queuing outside.<br><br>I am not very sure by what does he means by wrong timing? I came at their operating timing and waited for more than 4hrs!<br><br>And I was told. To wash the ear wax, we must prepare the ear for 3 days. Drip medication to soften the ear wax. Is like surgery. We need to prepare the body too. If we skip this step, we may or may not get the ear wax out from the ear.<br><br>This is totally unbelievable. I ever went to an old school clinic to have my infected ear wax washed out almost immediately.<br><br>After waited for almost 4hrs. My child ear was not treated and we do not feel safe for him to handle my child ear.<br><br>This is my worst experience I ever had with a professional doc.<br><br>We will never come back again

The service attitude was unacceptable. A very simple matter was made unnecessarily complicated. My child, who is a foreigner, is coming to Singapore to study and is required to have a doctor verify and complete a Singapore-mandated Immunisation Registration Form.<br><br>However, when I asked the nurse, she was unable to answer most of my questions and kept telling me to ask the doctor instead. Later, the doctor said the registration needed to be done under my child’s name, yet the staff then blamed me for not having registered it under my child’s name in the first place.<br><br>What was most frustrating was that they took my child’s health booklet saying they needed to photocopy it. It was only three pages, but I was made to wait 20 minutes, and in the end I had to go and ask about it myself. It This was a complete waste of my time.<br><br>What was most unprofessional was that the nurse even told me that their clinic had never filled in this type of form before!! which left me completely stunned. I also do not understand why the principal of Smiling Star School asked me to come specifically to see Dr Chua.😮‍💨🤦‍♀️

Doctors are great. Receptionists’ attitude are terrible.
